My eyes are seeing eyes; they have always been seeing eyes.
They watch for healing,
and to behold wondrous acts of courage.
They look to see transformations.
Eyes are for seeing light; Eyes are for seeing in the dark.
Eyes are a wondrous thing.
My ears know that there is so much to listen to.
There are songs of hope being sung.
There are colors that ring out in crystal beauty,
A vibration that is re-vibrating into all the worlds.
There are rapturous moments of creativity that whisper in a fleeting glance.
If my ears were closed, I would miss it all.
With my nose I smell emotions:
Joy is a lilac scented fragrance that never ceases to capture me.
Deception is musky and stale, sometimes sharp.
May this year be full of the scent of morning breezes
And fragrances of sunshine upon opening wildflowers,
The sweet strains of honest sweat mingled with fresh cut hay.
And to taste, oh to taste that astounding “what is coming next” taste…
It is already upon my tongue. It is a taste I long for.
I savor this, I dream of it, I want and watch and know that
What comes next is a rainbow spectrum.
How do I know this?
Because we are surrounded by love. All of us.
Even when it doesn’t look like it.
Even when I feel sad or lonely, I am surrounded by love.
And I know that in the quiet moments when I look out to see, to smell, to taste, to hear, the love is here.
I speak with words to call in the winged ones;
Those sweet moments of grace and hope.
I speak with comfort and joy, looking around, twirling around in the knowing that
All is well with the little ones.
