If I were to offer A Song of Hope for this time it would be…
Creativity often grows and percolates in the deep and quiet places.
This song is actually a prayer which has grown in such a place.
A Song of Hope is my heart cry for our world.
A Song of Hope
One gift I would like to give
Is a Song of Hope for all kind.
I will sing with a crystal lilting voice
Like I did on that one eve, long ago
when I was visited by stardust and the fragrance of jasmine.
People of all nations will hear my heart song.
All creatures understand and the melody will be remembered.
Children, elders and everyone in between will begin to sing in their own way and their own tongue.
Bees will sing in rapid winged beauty.
Eagles will soar in delight.
Children will clap their small hands in joy
And old women lift up their skirts to dance what they thought had been forgotten.
The fires will be rekindled and burn deep into the night
While once again the elders make plans for good
while watch dogs sleep with contentment knowing that safety will return.
The Song of Hope fills the earth with a yellow tinted breeze.
The Song of Hope smells like a rainbow and looks like the morning fog after a rain.
She is of kindly notes, sweet and deep, and even the deaf hear her voice.
Neighbors come outside to greet others.
The hungry are invited to sup and the gardens are full.
The earth is rich and dark with watered soil and the stems are purring.
The Song of Hope brings understanding and humans understand that who they are,
and who they were made to be
is exactly enough.
The smallest of animals are no longer hiding.
The shyest child. laughs with pure glee to notice tiny hedgehog babies dancing
and giggling and singing.
The healing breeze touches heartlands.
Scorched trees and dying fields rise up to grow again.
Rock areas are cleansed of old ashes curses.
Clean strength returns to the earth.
A small fish jumps in the lake and lets the sun glisten upon him.
We are singing.
We are singing.
As we move deeper into our creative work
we are challenged to discover hidden places of our heart.
This is a place of self discovery.
